M.D. /M.S. course in any subject consists of Thesis, Theory Papers, and Clinical/Practical and Oral tests.
a. Thesis

b. Theory
· Consists of four theory papers.
· Out of these, one is of basic medical sciences and one for recent advances.
· The theory examinations are held before the Clinical and Practical exams, so as to assess and evaluate the answer books prior to the start of the Clinical/Practical and Oral exams.
· Clinical examination for the subjects in Clinical Sciences is conducted to test the knowledge and competence of the candidates for undertaking independent work as a specialist or a teacher. The candidate needs to examine a minimum of one elaborate and two short cases.
